Looking for to Something to Sip on? This is a Bitter Sweet Symphony of Detoxifying Goodness in your cup.
In lieu of one of my recent posts on my facebook page, I shared a link to Healthy Holistic Living that discussed the benefits of ginger as a poweful ingredient to help kill cancer cells. I strongly believe that food is medicine and it’s unfortunate today that so many people don’t realize this, eat like crap and have gone astry from our natural tendency towards healthy living. I hardly ever get sick, if I do, it’s only because I work too hard (because I’m passionately trying to save the world) and I sometimes get run down but aside from those very rare occasions, it’s my healthy habits and the food I eat that keep me healthy, happy and functioning at my optimal levels. This recipe is a bit of a hand me down, I originally got it from my friend Alison (the Smoothie Queen) and she was inspired to try this after one of he many visits to Thailand. It’s a simple recipe, it’s perfect hot or especially nice to sip when iced on a hot summer day as you detox your body into better health without even trying because it’s so damn tasty. You can make it stronger or weaker depending on your gusto. I’ve modified it a bit to fit mine, I encourage you to do it to fit yours.

To make your sipping sensation even sweeter I’m going to share with you some additional benefits to the two main ingredients which actually BOTH have some serious cancer ass-kicking qualities so sip away and know your body will thank you later.
