Rich & Creamy Dreamy Vegan Nice Cream

I made this delicious high protein breakfast yesterday and it was to good not to share. The base was made from iced fruits, frozen coconut milk cubes, protein powder, cocoa and almond milk. I have a Ninja Pro blender so this mixed up pretty quickly so if you have a regular blender, blending might take a little longer or you might have to defrost some of your fruit a little for easier blending and to achieve that smooth, rich consistency of ice cream.

This delicious dish is nutrient rich, rico suave and will leave you energized and nourished for hours on end. I topped mine off with extra super seeds such as chia, hemp and then coconut. You can top yours off with whatever you like, or just eat it as ice cream or put in a cone. 2 scoop Fermented protein powder (I used Chocolate Sun Warrior sprouted protein *see notes)
3/4 cup slices Frozen banana (I buy them over-ripe and freeze them)
1/2 cup Frozen strawberry (chopped)
1/2 cup Almond milk, unsweetened, Blue Diamond
6 tbsp Coconut milk (I freeze coconut milk in ice cub trays – each cube=1 tbs)
1 tbsp Cocoa powder, unsweetened
1/2 tsp Maple syrup, pure
1 tbsp Almond milk, unsweetened, Blue Diamond (added gradually when blending)



1. Mix all ingredients in blender except single tbsp of almond milk.

2. Blend on high until thoroughly mixed – adding in extra almond milk as needed.

3. Serve in a bowl and garnish with fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, mint leaves or drizzle on maple syrup.

4. Enjoy!


Sun Warrior protein contains 17grams of lean plant protein in each scoop, so the protein is not properly calculated in this recipe, I assure you, it’s much more than 22 grams, however it still gets a green leaf rating.

I used a ninja pro blender, other blenders may take longer to blend until smooth but you can still do it.
